Why Have A Flexible Mind?
- Accept Others Ideas/Philosophies
- Easier To Reach Your Goals
I am a person, who has anxiety issues, pretty easily; especially in regards to my objectives in life. What I’ve learned, recently, is simple: you can’t really decide, in advance, how you are going to accomplish your goals, and know, what works and what doesn’t work, it’s just not possible—for the simple reason being, that, to master whatever it is you want to master, you have to accept that you precisely, don’t know.
Why is this important? It’s essential, because…If you make in advance, too detailed of a plan, then, in a way, you become married to that plan; that plan becomes your philosophy; it becomes your mindset/way of thinking; and what’s going to happen if things don’t go, according, to that plan/schedule/timeline. Will you be able to change something that has been your holy grail?
This probably concerns, more, people who are: professional —ahead of time, on time, detail-oriented, neurotic—individuals. We try to force things, but, if it’s not meant to be, then it’s not meant to be, for a reason, at least for now; you can come back to it later, you know.
What I’m trying to say is—don’t beat yourself up when things aren’t progressing, maybe, it’s life telling you: “Change something! God dammit! Stop thinking so much and progress where you can progress, in the moment; don’t try to understand, just do it, you unimaginative bastard”.
