Shoulder impingement syndrome is a condition where your shoulders rotator cuff tendons are intermittently trapped and compressed during shoulder movements This causes injury to the shoulder tendons and bursa resulting in painful shoulder movements.

  • Stretch hands
  • Stretch shoulders
  • Stretch lats

There are 3 parts of the body that I have loosened up that are extremely important to fix this problem: The first area that you should be working on, are the hands. The second should be the shoulder region, and the third area should be the lats.

Assuming your posture is quite good, this is all that you will need to fix this issue. If you do have posture problems, then you should look at my two posts about “upper back kyphosis” and “anterior pelvic tilt”; this should help you tremendously since just working on the three body parts won’t be enough; but for most of you here, this post should do the trick.
